Reporting
The Reports area lets you request files for order, delivery, sales, marketplace settlement, and marketplace operations data. Reports are generated asynchronously, so you can create a report, leave the page, and return when the status updates.
Create A Report
- Open the Reports page for your account or reseller group.
- Click Create Report.
- Choose a report from the report list.
- Select the date range and timezone.
- For application reports, choose the connected application and one location.
- Click Create Report.
POS Hub reports use data stored directly in POS Hub. Application reports are generated by a connected marketplace application, such as Uber Eats, and may take longer because POS Hub waits for the marketplace to prepare the file.
Report Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
QUEUED | POS Hub accepted the request. |
RUNNING | POS Hub is generating the report or asking an application to start it. |
REQUESTED | A connected application accepted the request and is waiting for upstream completion. |
SUCCEEDED | The report is ready to download. |
FAILED | The report could not be completed. |
CANCELLED | The request was cancelled before completion. |
EXPIRED | The artifact is no longer available. |
Download A Report
When a report reaches SUCCEEDED, use the download action in the report row or report detail page. POS Hub creates a short-lived secure download link each time you request the file.
Reports can expire, so download important files before the expiry date shown in the report details.
Choosing POS Hub Or Application Reports
- Choose a POS Hub report for order detail, cancelled orders, delivery detail, or sales summary generated from POS Hub data.
- Choose an Application report when you need marketplace-owned data, such as payout detail, marketplace feedback, downtime, billing detail, or order and item reports from a connected marketplace.
Application reports require a reporting-enabled app connection. If no compatible application is available, POS Hub will ask you to choose a different report or connection.
Cancel A Report
Queued, running, and requested reports can be cancelled from the report list or detail page. Cancellation is best effort for application reports because the upstream marketplace may already be processing the file.
